Rope Access Painting: When Is It Required in Adelaide?
Scaffold, EWP, or rope? Here's when each access method makes sense on Adelaide multi-storey projects.
Rope access is one of three ways to paint a multi-storey building. It's also the cheapest on the right job. Here's when we use it.
When rope is the answer
Smooth facades, accessible anchor points, tenant-live scheduling, short-duration windows. Rope is 30-50% cheaper than scaffold.
When scaffold wins
Heavily detailed facades, extended duration work, repeated access needed. Rope access struggles when workers need to frequently reposition.
When EWP is right
Scissor or boom lifts for mid-rise (3-6 storeys) work. Faster to set up than scaffold, safer than rope for long-duration detailed work.
